Grouped cards
Organise links into groups like Favourites and Locations, each with auto-fetched favicons. Collapse the ones you don't always need โ it remembers.
New-tab extension ยท Chromium & Firefox
Every new tab becomes a tidy, cosy home for the places you actually go โ grouped cards with real favicons, a pinned row, instant search, a clock and a sticky note. Edit it all right on the page. No config files, no accounts, nothing phoning home.
Free & open source ยท one folder works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi & Firefox
Everything, in reach
Organise links into groups like Favourites and Locations, each with auto-fetched favicons. Collapse the ones you don't always need โ it remembers.
Star any card to a compact strip at the very top, so the handful you open constantly are always one glance away.
The search bar is focused the moment a tab opens โ just start typing. Submit to Google, DuckDuckGo or Bing; press / to refocus.
A large clock and date, plus a personal โGood morning, nameโ with an optional focus line โ your name picked up from your signed-in account.
Add, rename and remove cards and groups right on the page. Paste a URL into the quick-add bar and a card appears, favicon and title and all.
Reorder cards within a group or drag them between groups. Give each card an emoji icon and an accent colour to make it yours.
Arrow keys move between cards, Enter opens the focused one, and 1โ9 jump straight to the Nth card.
A persistent scratchpad in the corner that saves as you type. Perfect for the three things you keep forgetting.
Auto / light / dark themes and a background of your choosing โ solid, gradient, your own image, or a fresh daily photo. Columns to taste.
Your layout syncs across signed-in Chrome, and you can export the whole thing to a JSON file and import it anywhere.
One folder, every browser
The same manifest.json runs everywhere โ a Gecko settings block
that Chromium ignores and Firefox needs. Load it unpacked in seconds, or grab
a packaged build.
chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, Load unpacked, pick the folder.about:debugging โ Load Temporary Add-on โ pick manifest.json.Private by design
Hearth asks for a single permission โ identity โ and only to read
your signed-in account email so the greeting can say your name. The name is
derived locally and nothing is sent anywhere. Not signed in? It just asks you
to type one.
Your cards and settings live in your browser's own sync storage. Favicons come from DuckDuckGo's icon service; if one fails, the card falls back to the site's initial.
